Job Description:
Old Mutual is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Online Call Center Assistant to join our team in Soweto, Gauteng, ZA. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for customer service and a strong desire to make a difference in people's lives. As an Online Call Center Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting clients through online calls, providing them with information about our products and services, and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
Responsibilities: 1. Answering online calls from clients and providing them with information about Old Mutual products and services. 2. Assisting clients with any inquiries or concerns they may have regarding their accounts or policies. 3. Processing customer requests, such as policy changes, account updates, and claims submissions. 4. Collaborating with other team members to ensure excellent customer service and efficient resolution of client issues. 5. Using negotiation skills to address client complaints and find satisfactory solutions. 6. Managing time effectively to handle multiple calls and tasks simultaneously. 7. Documenting all client interactions and updating customer records accurately. 8. Adhering to company policies and procedures to maintain high standards of service. 9. Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements: 1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role. 2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 3. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively. 4. Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. 5. Hardworking and passionate about providing excellent customer service. 6. Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute to a positive work culture. 7. High school diploma or equivalent required. 8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software. 9. Visa sponsorship and retirement plan benefits available for qualified candidates.
