Job Description:
As an Online Chat Support Assistant at Hilton in Soweto, Gauteng, ZA, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support through online chat platforms. You will be the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with bookings, inquiries, complaints, or general information. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all customer queries are handled efficiently and effectively, while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate information promptly through online chat platforms. 2. Assist customers with booking reservations, making changes to existing bookings, and processing cancellations. 3. Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and empathetic manner to ensure customer satisfaction. 4. Collaborate with other team members and departments to escalate complex issues and provide solutions. 5. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions for reporting and analysis purposes. 6. Stay up-to-date on Hilton's products, services, and promotions to provide accurate information to customers. 7. Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure consistent service delivery and customer satisfaction. 8. Continuously strive to improve the quality of service provided to customers through feedback and training.
Requirements: 1. 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field. 2. Confident and resilient personality traits. 3. Strong time management and people management skills. 4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 5. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 6. Proficiency in using online chat platforms and CRM systems. 7. High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
