Job Description - Online Contact Center Officer

Job Description:


Pick n Pay Stores is seeking a proactive and customer-oriented Online Contact Center Officer to join our team in Soweto, Gauteng, ZA. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. This role requires someone who is resilient and resourceful, with a strong ability to handle high-pressure situations and find creative solutions to challenges.


Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries and complaints via phone, email, and live chat in a timely and professional manner - Provide accurate information about products, services, and policies - Assist customers with placing orders, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues that may arise - Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer service experience - Take ownership of customer issues and follow through to resolution - Identify opportunities for improvement in processes and procedures within the contact center - Monitor and analyze customer feedback to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement - Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, even when dealing with difficult customers


Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field - Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a contact center environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities - Proficient in Microsoft Office and customer service software - Strategic planning and creativity skills are a plus
