Online Customer Service Officer

Job Description:

AngloGold Ashanti, a leading global mining company, is seeking an Online Customer Service Officer to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. As an entry-level position, we are looking for dedicated and confident individuals who possess strong communication skills and creativity.

Responsibilities: - Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues via online platforms such as email, chat, and social media - Providing exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention - Collaborating with other departments to address customer concerns and improve processes - Monitoring online customer reviews and feedback to identify areas for improvement - Developing creative solutions to enhance the online customer experience - Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Upholding company policies and procedures in all customer interactions

Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to think creatively and problem-solve effectively - Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude - Basic knowledge of online platforms and customer service technologies - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
