Web Chat Assistant

Job Description: Truworths International is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Web Chat Assistant to join our team in Soweto, Gauteng. As a full-time Associate level position, the Web Chat Assistant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support through our online chat platform. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and possess a reliable and energetic personality.

Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries and provide support via web chat - Assist customers with product information, order status, and any other inquiries - Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in a timely and efficient manner - Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless customer service experience - Proactively identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions - Manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism - Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department for resolution - Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions

Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in a customer service or online chat support role - Reliable and energetic personality - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills - Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines - Proficient in using web chat platforms and other customer service software - High school diploma or equivalent
