Web Chat Representative

Job Description:

We are looking for a resourceful and confident Web Chat Representative to join our team at Pick n Pay Stores in Johannesburg, Gauteng, ZA. As a Web Chat Representative, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and support through our online chat platform.

Responsibilities: 1. Engage with customers through web chat to provide information, answer questions, and resolve any issues or concerns. 2. Assist customers with orders, returns, refunds, and product inquiries. 3. Troubleshoot technical issues related to the website or online ordering system. 4. Upsell products and services to customers during chat interactions. 5. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 6. Collaborate with other departments to escalate and resolve complex customer issues. 7. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, promotions, and company policies. 8. Meet performance targets for response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements: 1. 3 years of experience in customer service or a related field. 2. Strong communication skills and the ability to think on your feet. 3. Proficiency in typing and multitasking in a fast-paced environment. 4. Persuasion skills and the ability to make quick decisions. 5. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. 6. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and chat support software. 7. High school diploma or equivalent.
