Retail Field Specialist - CPTFull job descriptionJob Summary:To manage the food service and bakeries in convenience stores through ensuring delivery of client objectives within parameters of responsibility.Key Responsibilities and DeliverablesCheck product listings and rangingEnsure that dealers purchase stock from client approved suppliersCheck packaging, labelling, display of products on shelvesCheck stock rotationCheck compliance on marketing and promotionsEvaluate and manage marketing and promotionsManage and evaluate promotional and marketing complianceFacilitate the implementation of promotion gridsReport to trade marketing on any concerns on promotional activityEnsure understanding of objectives of various promotionsProvide feedback to relevant stakeholdersPoint of Sale Compliance & Health complianceEnsure site-specific planograms and category flows are implementedTake photo of new displays for reportingEnsure shelf health is implemented and maintainedAll displays set according to management requirementsEnsure health and safety site complianceEnsure site hygiene complianceCall-cycle complianceEnsure 100% compliance on all actual stores plannedAdhere to call-cycle processRoute optimisationCall cycle managementReport discrepancies, re- plan, and communication to stakeholdersLiaise with customers and clientsProvide continuous feedback to manager as per client requirements.Accurate report submissionFollow up and investigate queries and problems, taking corrective action and providing the relevant feedbackEffective teamwork and self- managementFollow through to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintained including meeting all deadlines.Ensure data integrity of all reports to client and managementDemonstrate consistent application of internal proceduresPlan and prioritise, demonstrating abilities to manage competing demandsDemonstrate abilities to anticipate and manage changeDemonstrate flexibility in balancing achievement of own objectives with abilities to understand and respond to organisational needsImpart correct knowledge and enhance corrective measuresKey CompetenciesEmotional maturityImpact & influenceOrganisational awarenessResilience & stress managementAgilityPerformance & results drivenService excellenceAnalysis & problem solvingPlanning & prioritisationQuality & detail excellenceMinimum Qualifications & Requirements:MatricRelevant Tertiary education (Retail or Health & Safety related) - Added advantageValid Driver’s licenseMinimum Experience:2 years Retail/FMCG experienceInstore Execution experienceStrong retail shop-keeping skillsSite evaluation/visit experienceFood, Health and Safety compliance knowledge (Added advantage)Planograms and Merchandising experienceKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Good communication and interpersonal skillsGood business and retail knowledgeCustomer/Client service skillsOrganisational skillsThe ability to stay calm under pressure and meet tight deadlinesProblem solving skills
