Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation
Support the execution of in-season Allocation and Trading for the DTC Concept Stores. Deliver initial allocations, ensuring quick and efficient reactions to fast changing market environment to manage the implementation of the allocation strategy.
Key Responsibilities•Plan and execute allocations to assure that store needs are covered by following the channel Ranges provided by CS Buyer and Planner. Ensure optimal initial volumes to achieve store sales plans.•Manage launches including tracking launch stock inbound as well as outbound.•Attend BAAT meetings and feedback to CS team.•Execute new store opening store plan.•Manage and execute markdowns and price changes.•Work closely with Field team to manage store queries as well sending comms to stores.•Serve as a representative voice of trading and allocation in cross-functional workstreams to ensure teams are working collectively towards organisational objectives.•Leverage relationships with cross-functional teams (e.g. DC, Operations) to obtain information necessary to achieve business objectives.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities•Specialist with technical skills related to in-season Allocation and Trading for a multichannel direct to consumer (own retail) global brand.•Broad and deep knowledge of merchandising and retail supply and operations topics and broad knowledge of other functional areas involved in the Allocations and Trading process. •Knowledge on Excel.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualification•University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience.•8 years typical relevant work experience.
