A leading food and beverage company is expanding its offering to include food distribution and catering to a wide range of businesses in the hospitality industry and is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven sales representative to join their team. As a sales representative, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with customers, and driving sales growth in the food services sector. Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, or related field
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
Strong knowledge of the South African food services market
2 - 5 years of sales experience in the food services industry Duties:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with restaurants, hotels, catering companies, and other food service providers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Conduct sales calls, product demonstrations, and presentations to showcase our products and services.
Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with customers.
Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure excellent customer service and resolve any issues.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments.
Report sales performance, customer feedback, and market insights to management.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our products, services, and pricing.
