Job Description - Supervisor

  • Give customer service at all times
  • Process customer merchandise through the tills
  • Assist customers with product selection to increase basket value
  • Ensure that all new/ replenish merchandise is on the sales floor
  • Ensure that all ticketing & visual displays are in place
  • Support the manager in-charge with day-to-day duties
  • Assist with supervising employees engaged with daily duties
  • Ensure daily, weekly and monthly admin is done (including
  • Daily Banking
  • Inventory Management
  • Ensure The Base equipment is secured and accounted for
  • Be aware of health & safety rules
  • Understand The Base daily/weekly/monthly sales targets
  • Assist with action plan to minimize stock loss

Qualifications

  1. Grade 12 (Non-Negotiable)
  2. NQF level 3 or 4 on Wholesale and Retail Operations

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • 2 - 3 years retail experience as a Sales Assistant 
  • Computer literate
  • Communication skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Outstanding customer care skills,the ability to interact and communicate with customers
  • A genuine and efficient till operation skills 
  • An excellent record of overs/unders
  • A high standard of work on the sales floor,dedication in maintaining 
  • Quality standard of work on the sales floor,dedication in maintaining 
  • Initiative if a job needs to be done
  • A very good record of attendance and punctuality
  • Willingness to consistently apply Shoe City policies and procedures
  • In all aspects of your work
  • Good understanding of company VM /Blueprint strategy in terms of stock intensity and SKU availability
  • Good planning, delegation skills and the ability to lead a team 
  • Personal Integrity
  • High stress tolerance
  • Ability to work trading hours of shopping centers
  • Understand the receiving procedures
  • Ability to maintain the stockrooms layout and specification
