Are you an experienced professional in the animal feed industry with a passion for product development and innovation? We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Manager to join our dynamic team at our client. In this crucial role, you will take accountability for supporting our sales efforts by developing and executing winning product and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage product portfolios to optimize growth, profitability and market relevance
• Engage directly with customers to understand needs and gather product feedback
• Collaborate with sales and R&D teams to enhance existing products and develop new offerings
• Provide expert technical support and guidance to sales advisors and customers
• Drive new product launches by executing go-to-market plans across departments
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities
• Develop training programs to ensure proper use of our client's products and services
• Prepare reports, analyze data, and present findings to the executive team

Requirements:

• MSc in Animal Science with strong monogastric knowledge (PhD an advantage)
• Extensive experience in animal feed products/services with proven success record
• Unique blend of business and technical acumen
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in teams
• Data analytics skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Willingness to travel within and outside South Africa
