Web Chat Specialist - Remote Work

Job Description:

Massmart Holdings is seeking a Web Chat Specialist to join our remote team in Soweto, Gauteng. As a Web Chat Specialist, you will be responsible for interacting with customers through web chat to provide assistance, answer inquiries, and troubleshoot any issues. This role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities: - Engage with customers via web chat to provide support and resolve issues in a timely manner - Assist customers with product recommendations, order processing, and troubleshooting technical issues - Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times - Document customer interactions and follow up as needed to ensure customer satisfaction - Collaborate with other team members to escalate complex issues and provide seamless support to customers - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers - Meet or exceed performance metrics related to response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction

Requirements: - 1+ years of experience in a customer service or support role - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment - Driven and resourceful with a strong attention to detail - Time management and planning skills - Experience using web chat platforms or customer service software is a plus - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in customer service is a bonus
