Job Description - Social Media Content & Community Manager


SUMMARY:

Our client is a leading company with an international footprint in the signage and branding industry, renowned for its innovative and creative solutions. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the social media platforms convey a consistent brand message that fosters customer loyalty and drives meaningful engagement. This position is crucial for developing and executing a compelling social media strategy that communicates the brand's essence, values, and unique selling points.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement an effective social media strategy.
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging across all social media platforms.
  • Build credibility and foster long-term relationships through strategic content.
  • Create a diverse content calendar featuring videos, images, carousels, infographics, case studies, and testimonials.
  • Produce visually appealing and informative content that resonates with our client's audience.
  • Utilize storytelling techniques to make content relatable and memorable.
  • Write long-form articles to establish industry authority.
  • Respond promptly to comments and messages to build a sense of community.
  • Engage with partner brands and organizations to strengthen relationships.
  • Encourage user-generated content by actively interacting with our client's audience.
  • Work with sales teams to develop targeted campaigns.
  • Enhance customer experience, foster brand loyalty, and drive sales through value-driven campaigns.
  • Analyze social media metrics to track performance, identify trends, and optimize strategies.
  • Conduct A/B testing to improve campaign effectiveness and audience targeting.
  • Stay updated with social media algorithms and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Boost high-performing organic posts to reach a broader audience.
  • Utilize detailed targeting options based on demographics, interests, and behaviors.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Matric with Tertiary education in related field highly advantageous
  • Proven Experience in content creation, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Portfolio of previous work
  • Experience in various social media platforms
Remuneration
  • Basic salary: R18 500 - R20 000
  • Benefits: Medical aid, gap cover, and provident fund.
