Marketing Assistant/Junior Marketing

What is the job:  

Assisting Marketing Lead with Promotions and Campaigns. Ensuring our restaurants visibility and Corporate Identity is at the highest standard and up to date. Building relationships with preferred suppliers and making sure the admin of booked jobs are up to date and complete. Managing activations and promotions when promo teams are at restaurants for specific instantiates and drives. This includes recruitment drives, Add Hope beneficiary visibility drives, as well as sales and transaction activations. 

What will be expected of you?  

• Administrative support 
• Creation of Marketing Materials 
• Market research 
• Campaign coordinator and event support. 
• Data analysis 
• Customer support 
• Collaborations with cross-functional teams 

Are you qualified? 

• Diploma or relevant higher certificate in marketing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software programs for creating documents, other relevant software programs for creating documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and marketing materials. 

Did you do this before?  

• Experience will be an added bonus, but entry level applications are sufficient. This is an opportunity for applicants to build experience at the biggest KFC franchisee in Africa. 

Do you have what it takes?  

• Knowledge of marketing principles
• Market research   
• Strong writing skills for creating engaging content across different channels, including social media posts, email newsletters, website copy, and promotional materials.
• Basic graphic design skills and knowledge of design software are also beneficial. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate marketing messages, collaborate with team members, interact with clients or customers, and represent the brand professionally.
• Creative Thinking. Understanding of customer needs, preferences, and pain points to develop marketing strategies and initiatives that address their needs and create value for them.
