The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining the overall efficiency of the establishment.Position: Relief Junior Restaurant ManagerLocation: Klein Constantia EstateHours: Shift-based availability, including weekendsCompensation: Competitive hourly rateRequirements:Availability to work shifts and weekends.Own transportation is mandatory.Previous experience in restaurant management is required.Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.Key Responsibilities:Conducting cash-up procedures at the end of each shift.Supervising and managing restaurant staff, including training and scheduling.Handling invoicing and ensuring accurate financial transactions.Managing stock levels and placing orders as needed.Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the restaurant.Handling incoming emails and telephone inquiries promptly and professionally.Taking and confirming bookings for dining guests.Ensuring high-quality customer service standards are consistently met.Assisting in purchasing decisions and vendor relations.Additional Skills and Qualifications:Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and organizational skills.Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate a team.Knowledge of food and beverage operations is an asset.Passion and knowledge of wine.Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.If you meet the requirements and are passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences in a luxurious setting, we encourage you to apply.
