WAITERS

We are currently seeking talented and passionate WAITERS to join the prestigious PAUL RESTAURANT(s), With 5 Branches in Gauteteng Johanneburg, including Melrose Arch, Morningside Sandton, Niolway Bryanston, Polofields Midrand and Neighbourhoods Linksfields.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide warm and attentive service to guests, ensuring their needs are met with precision and care.
• Present menus, make recommendations, and take orders accurately and efficiently, demonstrating menu knowledge.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, following established service standards and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including resetting tables, refilling water glasses, and assisting with clearing plates.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery of orders to guests.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy, striving to exceed expectations.
• Uphold hygiene and safety standards at all times, including proper handling of food and adherence to sanitation protocols.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge of F&B operations.
• Performing shift duties like wiping tables, replenining salt and pepper etc
• Following health code standards with regards to food handling 

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Waiter in an upmarket or fine dining restaurant environment is preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills, with a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage with guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor, with a positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to exceed guest expectations.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques, menu items, and wine pairing is an asset.
• Fluency in English is required, additional language skills are advantageous.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
