POSITION INFO:
Qualifications and Requirements:

• Post-Basic Diploma in Critical Care Nursing
• Additional qualifications in Nursing Management and Administration
• Minimum of 3 years' management experience within the private healthcare sector
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as registered nurse
• Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of team management and development
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and safety

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Medical ICU Ward, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal patient care delivery
• Lead and motivate a team of dedicated nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork
• Implement and maintain best practices in critical care nursing, in alignment with hospital policies and standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
• Manage budgetary and resource allocation for the unit, optimizing efficiency while maintaining high standards of care
• Act as a mentor and coach to nursing staff, supporting their professional development and growth
