Job Description
Revenue Management: Ensure correct billing instructions are put in place for front office billing purposes, Work closely with various OTAs, Manage OTAs bookings, Manage OTAs platforms, Work closely with Front Office, Housekeeping and other departments to ensure memorable guest experience. Send out / distribute daily occupancy report, Report on daily and weekly reservations revenues, Work to maximise revenue through reservations, Yield Reservations to maximise revenue, Build and promote packages, Decide on rates. Establish and / Run pricing meetings, Report on booking trends and booking pace to management to make needed and relevant decisions, Annalise History and Forecast report and 3 months forecast report for action plans, Collect stats on all reservations, internal and external, Work closely with sales and sales agents and marketing.
Reservations Management:
Manage reservationists. Making and Managing individual reservations by: Ensuring correct guest profiles are build and maintained. That rapport is built with the guest and their needs and requirements are met through the reservation. Confirmation of the guest reservation was sent to the guest with the necessary. Indemnity forms, lodge information, facilities and activities, notes, banking details. That the required deposit payments are received / paid by guests as required by the lodge policies. Drafting and updating of the SOP and ensuring it is followed. Controlling rooms inventory of the lodge. Yielding of rooms booking to maximise revenue Working towards monthly budgets on revenue. Managing statistics through reporting (profile production on Agents & companies market segment three months forecast, overall history and forecast).
Qualifications
Matric/Grade 12. Relevant Hospitality Qualification is a strong advantage.
Skills
Working knowledge of Opera, OTA Platforms. Good Leadership skills. Solid experience at Yield, Reservations and Revenue Management within Hotels.
