Graphic Designer - Randburg

Hotel Group based in Randburg is looking for a Graphic Designer to offer design solutions which will take marketing strategies from inception to completion.

• Branding and Corporate Identity –develop, establish, follow and update brand guidelines and manuals for all companies
• Marketing Collateral -  design and oversee production of all promotional material, including but not limited to books, brochures, digital presentations, presentation boards, signage, web, social media etc. Keep all marketing collateral updated with latest material (internal & external)
• Websites -  knowledge of web standards, best practice and technologies to maintain company websites in terms of content, design, development and functionality updates – knowledge of CMS like WordPress is essential (other platforms advantageous).
• Stationery and Office Supplies - Produce and maintain company related stationery for digital and print. Provide relevant design solutions and print specifications with accurate price quotes to meet budget and brief requirements.
• Ad hoc/Impromptu in-house design projects – As requested by the various stakeholders.
• Image Editing  including photo editing in Lightroom and Photoshop as well as resizing and optimizing of images and PDF’s for use in different applications. Excellent retouching skills required.
• Magazine and Feature design and layout
• Social Media – Ability to post, monitor and schedule social media content across various platforms
• Direct Marketing – Design digital newsletters

Requirements: 

• Related degree / diploma.
• Design experience in an in-house creative environment, design firm or agency.
• Hotel / Hospitality experience will be an advantage 
• Software Skills must include expert knowledge of the latest Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom) and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in both written and spoken English, with strong writing, editing, spelling, grammar and proofreading abilities.
