Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Reconcile POS systems daily.
• Prepare reconciliation between adhoc guest charges and associated supplier invoices and submit to Accounts Payable for processing and payment.
• Review revenue adjustments and allowances and ensure that the reasons are valid, appropriate evidence is supplied and that transactions are correctly recorded and authorised.
• Ensure that all folios relating to production groups to city ledger have been checked and correctly transferred.
• Review of entries processed to production accounts on a detailed level.
• Ensure that production group account aging is always at desirable levels.

Requirements

What You Bring:

• Experience within a hotel environment or similar is preferable
• Highly computer literate
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Data entry skills along with a aptitude for numbers
