Maintenance Manager

A 4* Hotel in Graskop is looking for a Maintenance Manager.

• General Maintenance and repairs to all buildings.
• Upkeep and repairs of all public areas.
• General maintenance on electrical, plumbing, appliances, tools and equipment
• Plan, propose, manage all projects as and when required including collaboration on projects with outside contractors.
• Ensure quality control of all maintenance and projects.
• Prepare, submit annual and ad hoc budgets for operations and projects.
• Negotiate favourable wholesale prices with suppliers.
• Fleet Management of company vehicles.
• Ensure effective staff management within the guidelines of the company policies and legislative requirements.
• Weekly and Monthly reports as required & exceptional report writing skills.
• Control and manage stock levels and reports.
• General overseeing and keeping of gardens and gardening team.
• Planning and maintaining seasonal gardening projects and plans.

Requirements:

• Matric is a minimum requirement.
• Attention to Detail.
• Reliability and adaptability.
• Candidate must have strong Leadership, Administration, Project
• At least 5 years Management and General Building Maintenance experience within the hospitality industry
• Microsoft Office, especially with Good Excel Skills.
• Project Management is essential.
• Valid RSA ID is required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
