STOCK CONTROLLER (LINEN & OPERATIONAL EQUIPMENT)

𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗖𝗞 𝗔𝗗𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗢𝗥: 𝗟𝗔𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗥𝗬 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗣𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧

You will excel in this role if you are a flexible, attentive and organised individual, who enjoys fast paced and constant changing challenges. Accurate record keeping with the ability to complete duties quickly and methodically whilst maintaining a high degree of operational delivery, will result in success within this role.

𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

- Ordering, receiving and issuing of uniforms and linen to the respective departments and Hotels

- Prepare all new joiner uniform requirements prior to their start date

- Support Senior Stock controller by providing par stock levels for linen and uniform items

- Responsible for monthly stock takes, checking and following up on variances

- Mending and altering any uniform and linen items, including towels, according to operational requirements

- Labelling of all new or re-labelling of existing uniforms and linen according to property or department

- Manage and control all staff lockers through all the properties

- Processing of all related documents in the inventory control system

- Sourcing suppliers in line with our quality standard and requirements

- Maintain organised and clean storage areas

- Adhere to Health and Safety Standards

𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general administrative and computer duties

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ordering, issuing and receiving stock

- Experience in a 5-star luxury hotel environment would be advantageous

- Experience in working on Procure.net or similar procurement or stock management software, would be advantageous

- Experience in a F&B environment would be beneficial

- Excellent timekeeping and good communication skills

- Ability to work under pressure

𝗜𝗻𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:

- Matric Certificate

- Driver's License would be advantageous

- Physical ability to do heavy lifting

- High level of attention to detail
