The Department of Social Development, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a competent individual to coordinate departmental operational service delivery obligations as required by the CSC (Corporate Service Centre) service level agreement and supervise staff.
Minimum RequirementsAn appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (or higher qualification); A minimum of 3 years relevant administrative experience in a Human Resource environemt. A valid code B (or higher) driving licence. Note: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities but have reasonable access to transport may also apply.

Key Performance Areas | Operationalise the monitoring, assessment and reporting on the service delivery of the CSC to the department in terms of the CSC-service level agreement; Operationalise and facilitate the periodic internal review of the CSC-service level agreement to ensure that the department’s service delivery requirements are met; Operationalise the departmental operational service delivery obligations as required by the CSC - service level agreement (SLA); Coordinate the departmental operational service delivery obligations as required in the CSC service level agreement; People Management. |
Competencies | Knowledge of the following: Monitoring and evaluation methods, tools and techniques; Business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modelling, leadership technique, production methods and coordination of people and resources; Principles and processes for providing customer and personnel services, including needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction; Project management; Legislative and regulatory requirements, policies and standards; Public management and administration; Relationship management. Skills needed : Numeracy; Literacy; Computer Literacy; Language skills; Project Management; Legal Administration; Strategic planning; Planning and Organising. |
Remuneration | R 444 036 per annum (Level 9) Note on remuneration: Service benefits or obligations for qualifying employees (medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc) are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements. |
