Job Description - Freelance Account Manager

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Account Manager to join our advertising agency. The ideal candidate will manage client accounts, coordinate campaigns, and ensure client satisfaction. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a solid understanding of advertising and marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management

Act as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining strong, positive relationships.

Understand client needs and objectives, ensuring that campaigns meet their expectations.

Provide regular updates to clients on project progress, campaign performance, and any issues.

Campaign Coordination

Coordinate the development and execution of advertising campaigns across multiple channels.

Work closely with creative, media, and digital teams to ensure seamless campaign integration.

Monitor campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Project Management

Manage project timelines, ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

Prepare project briefs, schedules, and status reports.

Oversee the approval process for creative work and media plans.

Financial Management

Develop and manage budgets for client projects, ensuring cost efficiency.

Handle client billing, invoicing, and financial reporting.

Track project expenses and manage resource allocation effectively.

Team Collaboration

Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality work that meets client expectations.

Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.

Provide support and guidance to junior team members as needed.

Business Development

Identify opportunities for account growth and new business within existing accounts.

Support the account director in pitching and securing new clients.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to inform client strategies.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in account management within the advertising or marketing industry.

Proven track record of managing successful advertising campaigns.

Skills and Competencies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and project management abilities.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and financial reporting.

Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
