Head of Human Capital

SUMMARY:
Our client, a financial services organisation has an opportunity available for a Head of Human Capital to join their team based in Jhb, the ideal candidate would be a hands-on human capital generalist who has experience in a Financial Services company, preferably experience at a board level.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications required:

• Degree in HR , Law, Psychology or related fields.

• Experience at board level is an added advantage
• Minimum 12 years’ experience in a Human Capital Generalist role
• Deep understanding of all Human Capital functions
• Expert knowledge of South African labour legislation and regulations
• Experience with Human Capital software (HRIS and ATS)

• Report to the CFO & MD
• Manage 5 people (Human Capital Consultants and Talent Acquisition)
• Accountable for the full Human Capital function of the company
• Strategy and Planning for HR
• Talent Management
• Organisational Risk Management, Compliance and Control
• Organisational Design
• Remuneration & Benefits
• Manage labour relations
• Implement systems and processes to drive operational efficiencies
• Collaborate with leadership teams to build a strong brand and employee value proposition.
• Manage HR budgets and adhere to financial and management regulations
