The Desktop Publishing Operator will be responsible for rolling out approved designs to various sizes and for various media from digital to print including large-scale Out Of Home applications and signage. • 2+ years in a design/DTP related position.

A Bonus To Have

• Diploma/Degree.

What Youll Do For The Brand

• Good knowledge of PC operating system and commands; computer resource management to include disk space, memory, and file storage.
• Good knowledge of typography, typesetting, printing capabilities; basic design and layout techniques, and formats.
• Edit graphics, such as photographs or illustrations.
• Import text and graphics into publishing software.
• Integrate images and text to create cohesive pages.
• Adjust text properties, such as size, column width, and spacing.
• Revise layouts and make corrections as necessary.
• Adjust layouts and rollout approved artwork to various sizes for signage, print, digital banners, social posts and Out of Home applications.
• Quality control with attention to detail on all projects before published or printed.
• Time management must be able to work fast, accurately, and efficiently.
• Submit or upload final files for printing or online publishing and digital.
• Be proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat.
• Be proficient in color correction & photo manipulation.
• Be proficient in using shortcut keys.
• Work closely with graphic designers.
• Work additional hours when needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint would be beneficial.
• Submit daily reports and timesheets.
• Ad hoc duties as required.
