Job Description:

Provide Human Resource functions and services support to the business. The incumbent is responsible for cascading senior leaders vision by planning organising and executing Human Resources tactical strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Advise on and manage training and development initiatives specific to departmental needs.
• Lead change management efforts by planning and executing strategies at the operational level.
• Administer payroll and ensure accurate time and attendance tracking.
• Conduct recruitment activities including interviews and selection processes.
• Design and implement employee wellness programs tailored to workforce needs.
• Facilitate performance management processes including training managers on performance evaluation techniques.
• Handle employee relations issues including conflict resolution and grievance management.
• Ensure compliance with Employment Equity and manage related committee meetings.
• Conduct BBBEE audits and manage documentation for compliance and reporting.
• Prepare and manage HR departmental budgets with a focus on costefficiency.
• Establish and maintain productive relationships with union representatives and manage negotiations.
• Provide direct support and consultation to management on HRrelated issues.
• Regularly report on HR metrics and their impact on business operations to senior management.
• Update and ensure adherence to HR policies responding to changes in legislation.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth integration into the company.

Requirements : Qualification and Skill

• HR Degree or suitably qualified Honours Degree Human Resources
• Years: 8 10 years HR Management Related mining experience essential
• Languages: English /well versed in South African local languages
• South African Board for People Practices (SABPP)
• Union labour matters (e.g. wage negotiations labour disputesetc.)
