Job Description - HR Officer - with Growth Opportunities

We are searching for an experienced HR Officer to join our passionate team at Financial Wealth Holdings in Cape Town, Western Cape.

This position encompasses delivering quality Human Resources services by providing support in implementing people management initiatives that are in line with business strategies. The Human Resources Officer will assist the organisation to develop, improve, and implement policies related to employees. Additionally, the successful candidate will ensure that each employee is properly trained and assessed against the skills needed for the job.

 

Key duties, but not limited to:

  • Providing administrative support to the Human Resources Department
  • Updating and maintaining all Human Resources reports
  • Providing support to the Payroll/Accounts Department
  • Collation of all data for various reporting
  • Creation of content, and documents, updating of policies and procedures under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager
  • Implementation of improved processes and functionality within the Human Resources Department
  • Conducting disciplinary enquiries as required
  • CCMA correspondence and preparation
  • Conduct research for the Human Resources Department
  • Coordinating administrative tasks in order to align various companies and mirror all policies, procedures and business plans
  • Aiding in the collection of data for Employment Equity and Skills Development purposes
  • Taking minutes in meetings and disciplinary enquiries
  • Aiding the Human Resources Manager in terms of audits, employee relations and compensation

 

Requirements:

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification (HR Senior Diploma, Degree In Industrial/Organisational Psychology, People Management)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the same or similar position
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and its amendments
  • BPO exposure (Advantageous)
