Human Resource Manager

As the HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping our company culture and ensuring that we attract, develop, and retain top talent. You will oversee all aspects of human resources management, with a focus on recruitment, workforce planning, employment equity reporting, SETA compliance, Performance Management and Labour Relations. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our organization and contribute to our ongoing success.  Key duties but not limited to: 

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain high-quality talent, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the hiring process. 
• Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all applicable legislation. 
• Manage the workforce planning process, ensuring that staffing levels meet business needs and that resources are allocated effectively. 
• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system and process that drives high performance. 
• Oversee the development and implementation of workplace skills plans (WSP) in accordance with SETA requirements. 
• Coordinate employment equity reporting, including data collection, analysis, and submission of reports to relevant authorities. 
• Ensure compliance with all relevant labour laws, regulations, and company policies. 
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and professional development. 
• Coordinate training and development initiatives. 
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll records/submissions. 
• Can chair and/or initiate Disciplinary Hearings 
• Contribute to job satisfaction through prompt issue resolution and employee engagement activities. 
• Conduct regular training sessions on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. 
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR initiatives that support the company's strategic objectives. 
• Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

• NQF level 7 human resource or related area 
• Minimum 5 years working experience in HR Management with a focus on recruitment, WSP, Employment Equity reporting, SETA compliance and Performance Management. 
• SETA accredited facilitator, assessor and moderator certification (Advantageous) 
• Previous experience working within a contact centre environment and or financial services provider HR Department 
• Strong knowledge of South African labour laws, regulations, and best practices. 
• Self-motivated with high energy levels & ability to deal with confidential and information. 
• Experience in maintaining an HR Management Information System & basic knowledge of Employee Assistance Programmes 
• Strong interpersonal relationship and communication skills and ability to take initiative. 
• Experience in working on Payroll systems such as Sage 300 (advantages)
