JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

• Assist with development and finalisation of IFRS 17 compliant financial statements and management reports
• Responsible for development of communication and training to relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborating with the rest of the Finance Team to ensure the successful implementation and integration of IFRS 17 into finance processes
• Liaising with internal and external assurance providers to provide assurance on IFRS 17
• Provide technical guidance for the group on application of IFRS 17

Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications:

• Matric
• BCom Accounting / equivalent
• BCom Hounors
• CA(SA)

Experience:

• Completed Articles
• 3-4 years’ post article experience
• Experience in working for a listed company
• Experience in an insurance or finance environment advantageous

Skills & Competencies:

• Quality and detail orientation
• Able to demonstrate and exercise sound judgment skills
• Eager to learn and accept new challenges
• Must have strong teamwork skills
• Results driven, able to achieve work goals
