Programme Coordinator

SUMMARY:
Job Purpose:
To effectively design, implement and evaluate talent management programmes aligned to overall Human Resource Strategy in order to improve the performance of teams and individuals and effectiveness of the organization in achieving its mandate. Minimum qualification:

• Degree (NQF 7) in Human Resources or Honours Bachelor of Education(NQF 8)

Desirable qualification:

• Honours Bachelor of Education
• Occupationally Directed: Education Training and Development Practice

Minimum Experience:

•  3 years’ operational experience working in municipality environment.
• 3 years as an educator.
• Coordinating training and development programmes, workshops and meetings.

POSITION INFO:
Technical and Functional Competencies:

• Computer skills especially MS Office.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication and ability to engage in communication with skilled and semi-skilled/semi-literate groups.
• Understanding of the processes applicable to designing and conducting assessments for Learning Programmes.
• Sound knowledge of ETD related legislation.
• Ability to design and implement organisation’s ETD strategy, policies, practices, philosophy and plans.
• Ability to conduct training needs analysis with line functions, and determine relevant training interventions at appropriate levels.
• Ability to plan and facilitate skills development courses and learning programmes applying a variety of ETD methods, training manuals and other media.
• Ability to evaluate the outcomes of courses and learning programmes.
• Understanding of processes applicable to selection and management of training service providers.
