The Role:

As the Senior HR/Recruitment Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our People department and acting as a business partner in driving the culture, recruitment and HR related activities within nCino Africa. Your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with hiring managers weekly and quarterly to review their forecasts for the quarter
  • Sourcing candidates through referrals, agency relationships, sourcing platforms and industry related networks
  • Posting of job adverts on various social media platforms and HRIS systems
  • Ensure all performance processes are aligned and are followed according to the most recent labour legislation
  • Maintaining and updating all people related information 
  • Tracking of recruitment and HR metrics
  • Improving people related processes
  • Weekly, monthly and quarterly progress reports on hiring efforts, diversity and HR related activities
  • Managing benefits administration and monthly payroll submissions
  • Train and advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques and assessment methods
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and databases 
  • Employee background checks: Criminal, credit and reference checks
  • Keeping systems and reporting up to date
  • Ad Hoc administrative duties as may be required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Recruitment/HR
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems; Workday would be beneficial
  • Sound knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices in South Africa
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
  • Ability to manage 15-20 open vacancies 
  • Managing performance disciplinary processes would be an advantage
  • Exposure to international markets would be beneficial
