Job Description - HRD Workplace Coach

Job Title: HRD Workplace Coach - Mining Industry - Limpopo Location: Limpopo, South Africa Job Type: Full-time Job Description: Hire Resolve's client is looking for an experienced HRD Workplace Coach to join their team in the mining industry in Limpopo. The HRD Workplace Coach will be responsible for designing and delivering training and development programmes for employees within the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with management and employees to identify performance gaps and develop strategies to address them. Responsibilities:
  • Effectively impart and document essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes to TMM Operators within a mining context, ensuring adherence to established standards. Enable their ongoing development through facilitative approaches. Monitor license expiry dates, coordinate assessment scheduling, and support license renewal upon competency demonstration. This encompasses mentoring new operators, integrating daily procedures, and conducting basic troubleshooting on relevant machinery.
  • Coordinate logistical aspects such as venue arrangements, provision of digital tools, and securing necessary machinery and licenses with collaborative assistance. Execute assigned administrative tasks meticulously and promptly, including maintaining attendance records and generating reports.
  • Conduct coaching sessions as per scheduled plans and directives, offering retraining or additional coaching as directed by management. Implement training/coaching initiatives directly within the workplace environment. Provide follow-up support to recently licensed operators as required. Fulfill ad hoc responsibilities delegated by supervisors, including performing routine inspections and checks and delivering follow-up training/coaching sessions.
  • Support the organization of final theoretical and practical assessments to validate learner/coachee competency.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of training/coaching areas and equipment at all times, ensuring proper storage of coaching resources post-usage.
  • Uphold the health and safety of all learners/coachees, ensuring the learning environment meets necessary standards. Take responsibility for maintaining discipline among learners/coachees. Continuously evaluate learner/coachee knowledge, skills, and attitudes to ensure effective learning and coaching outcomes.
  • Provide hands-on coaching to learners/operators on relevant machinery in surface operations, emphasizing driving proficiency. Prepare and submit coaching reports to supervisors for the issuance of temporary licenses.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12
  • Assessor's Certificate
  • Train the Trainer Certificate/Coach Learners
  • 3-5 years of TMM operation experience
  • 6 months of practical training facilitation, coaching, and presentation experience

  • Salary: R600K-R800K per year
