Job Description - Internal Sales Consultant

Located in Gauteng, South Africa, ProProcess specializes in delivering modular process solutions to the capital equipment market. With a focus on innovation and quality, we cater to diverse industries, ensuring exceptional customer service and ongoing support. Position Overview:
ProProcess is seeking an Internal Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in maintaining strong client relationships, managing sales inquiries, and ensuring seamless execution of the purchasing, packaging, and transportation process. The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Responsibilities will include:
  • Engage with clients via phone and email to receive and process sales inquiries from clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction with ProProcess solutions and services.
  • Address client queries and concerns promptly and professionally, offering timely solutions.
  • Liaise with internal teams to source requested items, ensuring availability and suitability of products.
  • Provide clients with comprehensive quotations and proposals, including pricing, delivery schedules, and terms of sale.
  • Coordinate the purchasing process, including negotiating with suppliers, issuing purchase orders, and tracking order status.
  • Oversee packaging and transportation arrangements, ensuring products are delivered to clients in a timely manner and in compliance with quality standards.
  • Generate accurate invoices for clients based on agreed-upon terms and pricing.
  • Monitor payment schedules and follow up with clients as needed to ensure timely payment.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Grade 12 Matriculation (Requirement)
  • Ndip, Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (Requirement)
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role and industry.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and client requirements
  • Exceptional time-management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the capital equipment or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM software
  • Knowledge of purchasing processes, logistics, and inventory management principles
