Logistics Coordinator
A successful Diesel Depot in the Northern Suburbs has a vacancy for a suitably qualified Logistics Coordinator to join their team. This position is responsible for the complete logistical duties of the depot.

Qualifications & Experience:                                                       

• Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
• Tertiary Qualification in Logistics Management or similar
• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in Bulk Vehicle Operations/Dangerous Goods/Fuel

Requirements:

• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
• Non-smoker                
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to perform under pressure
• Ability to meet changing deadlines and solve problems promptly
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
• Available to work after hours
• Extensive knowledge of Cape Peninsula and surrounding areas
• HSSE knowledge
• Management experience & leadership skills
• Excellent written, verbal communications and Excel skills
• Stock controlling
• Own Reliable Transport

Responsibilities:                                                                            

• Planning, coordinating, and monitoring the company’s logistics operations to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries
• Manage the logistics team to ensure optimal performance
• Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels.
• Tracking and solving problems with deliveries - effective communication to the relevant parties involved.
• Making special delivery arrangements as necessary.
• Reviewing purchase orders and delivery documents accurately before it's handed over for processing.
• Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards.
• Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
