The Company
Globe 24-7 in partnership with a key mining equipment provider in Limpopo are working together to source an experienced Operations Manager to join their team.
 
 
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, managing a team of professionals, and ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with our business objectives. This is a full-time position and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

 

 
The Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, including production, logistics, maintenance, and quality control.

Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained, serviced, and repaired to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Lead and manage a team of professionals, including supervisors, technicians, and support staff.

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators and implement measures to improve operational performance.

Manage budgets, expenses, and resources to ensure that operations are conducted in a cost-effective manner.

Look after stock and labour.

Manage stores.

Control assets on site.

Ensure storage conditions are optimal, safe, and secure.

Account management (engaging with customers and site members)

Fully responsible for safety on site

Responsible for contractors.

 
The Requirements

Engineering background (trade tested / diesel mechanic / electrical engineering etc).

Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role within a mining equipment provider.
