Job Description - Receiving Clerk - Kathu

Tshipi é Ntle Manganese Mining Proprietary Limited is an independently operated and managed, black empowered manganese ore producer. Tshipi é Ntle means 'beautiful steel' in the local Tswana language. Tshipi is not only the largest single manganese mine and exporter from South Africa but is also one of the five largest manganese ore exporters globally. Based in the Kalahari Manganese Field (KMF), the largest manganese-bearing geological formation in the world, Tshipi Borwa Mine is a shallow open-cast operation developed on a large and homogenous ore body with a currently confirmed life of mine reserve of approximately 30 years.KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Financial Perspective Contributes to cost efficiencies. Demonstrates budget and cost awareness and proactively identifies and implements cost saving initiative within the receiving function. Identifies and escalates potential risks that could result in increased costs. Follows receiving standard operating procedures and processes to mitigate risk of financial loss. Cost saving initiatives % reduction on directly managed cost of production from previous year. Internal Business Process Perspective Receives and Stores Stock and Diesel Receives goods and stock according to established receiving procedures. Checks and manages all relevant financial and delivery documentation including: Goods received register. Delivery and order information. Ensures the quality of received goods and supplies by checking for defects and damages. Analyses and reports on received stock variances. Ensures that stores and equipment are safely received and stored in line with company processes and relevant legislative and regulatory requirements. IT system utilisation Independent annual review of consistent use of all functionalities of all IT systems under control of the function. Warehouse reports % stock variances. Legislative compliance Number of non-compliance incidents. Document Management % compliance to document management control system procedures. People Perspective Personal Development Manages own performance in terms of agreed KPA/KPI's. Identifies gaps in own development and creates and reviews development plans to increase performance and ensure personal development. Works to master skills and competencies within own role to ensure personal development and performance. Personal Development Plan: % achieved actual v planned Contributes to team. Contributes to the attainment of team and organisational goals by demonstrating team commitment and collaboration. Values and respects team members and others within the organisation. Demonstrates inclusivity and values diversity. Shares knowledge and best practice that will benefit the team. Peer / team review: TBC Customer Perspective Customer Relations Management Management of customer expectations, adherence to defined performance standards, customer requirements and the effective delivery of warehouse services to the business. Meeting the logistics functions performance in terms of agreed KPA/KPI's. Driving customer satisfaction throughout the provision of warehouse services. Building relationship across the organisation by sharing business information, knowledge, and expertise. Internal Customer metric

Stakeholder engagement and management Negotiates with internal and external stakeholders to promote the business and service objectives of the company. Ensures that the needs of organisational stakeholders are prioritised and managed including: Suppliers. Colleagues and employees. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Matric.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

Certificate in Purchasing Management (NQF Level 4)

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Minimum 2 years' experience as receiving clerk within a mining environment.
