Responsibilities: Perform and oversee Electrical engineering activities for various industrial projects in the private and government sectors to safely deliver on all company operational plans during the project execution phase; Engineering design in accordance with established standards and codes of practice; Reviewing technical documentation and defining electrical engineering requirements; Carrying out technical evaluations, preparation of specifications for electrical infrastructure and installations; Carry out feasibility and electrical power system studies; Attend factory acceptance tests and provide input to vendor's test documentation. Manage and assist with plant electrical equipment and system installation and commissioning; Accountability for quality, risk management, financial performance, scope management and client satisfaction in all project undertaken Liaise with the client to ensure that agreed designs are in accordance with agreed requirements; Representation at client and professional meetings with the ability to present work and engage in a technical conversations in a professional manner; Requirements: BEng/BSc or BTech degree in Electrical Engineering Between 7 and 10 years electrical engineering experience in industrial and infrastructure projects in the private and government sectors Registered with ECSA as Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng Proficiency in DIgSILENT, ETAP, Loadflow, Fault Study Modelling Greenfields and brownfields plant design and construction experience Ability to provide mentorship to students and graduates
