Fleet Maintenance Manager

SUMMARY:

Well established manufacturing firm is looking for a Vehicle Fleet Maintenance Manager with diesel mechanic experience to join their team in Hartbeespoortdam area.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Experience working within the same or similar position
• Extensive Diesel mechanic experience
• Computer literate (Excel Sheets)
• Large trailer maintenance experience
• Hands-on type of person
• Technically inclined

Duties will include but is not limited to:

• Full function diesel mechanic duties on trucks (tipper trucks etc.) – largest part of the work
• Maintenance and fixing large trailers (grease, checking air dryers, changing brakes, know and plan when trucks needs to be serviced)
• Buying parts and equipment for the workshop
• Manage workshop staff
• Dealing with health and safety issues
• Ensure paperwork is completed and accurate
• Will be involved in fixing and maintaining trucks and large trailers
