Graduate Laboratory Assistant

SUMMARY:
A well-established injection blow moulding plastic manufacturing company manufacturing products for the fragrance industry requires the above to assist in the lab handling various laboratory duties. POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements for the role:

• A diploma or degree in chemistry or related is preferred.
• The company is happy to train a graduate with no work experience into this role.
• Must have strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Basic Excel skills are essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team are essential.
• Must be attentive to detail.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Working closely in a team within the lab handling all laboratory duties.
• Testing and approving products
• Handling inline production updates.
• Testing finished products and calibrating measuring and testing equipment.
• Troubleshooting quality defects.
• Filling testing logs and laboratory paperwork.
• Sampling procedures and testing manufacturing processes, methods and standards.
• Conducting in-process quality checks.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
