Job Description - Internal Recruitment Specialist

Our client in the manufacturing industry requires an Internal Recruitment Specialist to join their team, The incumbent will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and assessing top talent within our organization to fill key positions. Working closely with departmental managers, to develop and execute strategic recruitment plans, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified candidates to support the company's growth objectives

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies tailored to each department's requirements.
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and internal databases, to attract qualified candidates.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet the job requirements and conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate suitability.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, both in-person and virtually, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit through competency-based interviews and behavioral assessments.
  • Provide timely feedback to candidates and hiring managers, keeping all stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the hiring process.
  • Manage recruitment-related documentation, including job descriptions, offer letters, and employment contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) to track candidate progress and generate recruitment reports for management review.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to recruitment and employment, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for the organization, promoting our employer brand and values to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must be well organised and place great emphasis on quality but also quick delivery, with a sense of urgency

Candidates must have at least 5 years recruitment experience

Manufacturing experience would be advantageous
