We are problem solvers. And we will be better with you.We are looking for a Quality Manager to join our South Africa team and support the Colors&Flavors business in South Africa. This position is a key member of the Sensient team, where you will be required to push boundaries and add value onsite in the office, 5 days per week. What you’ll do:Responsible for systematic review and maintenance of site Quality System components in accordance with corporate policies, procedures, programs, applicable government regulations and third party requirements.Serves as Site Quality Management Representative.Assure Good Manufacturing Practice compliance for plant and laboratory operations and manufacturing records.Responsible for systematic review and maintenance of site Quality System components in accordance with corporate policies, procedures, programs, applicable government regulations and third party requirements.Responsible for Quality support of new product development process.Implementation of new national and international regulations as and when required (EU, USA, China, Australia, African countries, etc.).What you’ll bring:Requires a Bachelor's or equivalent experience in a Technical Degree (Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry or Food Science), science based Master's degree is preferred.10 years of Product Safety & Quality Assurance experience in a commercial or manufacturing environment. Supervisor and managerial experience required. Additional experience in Quality Control preferredCommunicates information to appropriate personnel. Actively listens and shares information and knowledge with others in an effective and a timely manner. Ensures that appropriate information is communicated, received and understood.Demonstrates the technical/functional skills to fulfill the needs of the role and continually develops expertise.
