You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all operational teams onsite.Minimum Requirements:Diploma/Degree in Industrial EngineeringDiploma/Degree in Production and Operations ManagementMaster’s degree Business Administration (MBA) (added advantage)Minimum of 10year’s experience as an Operation’s Manager within a manufacturing environmentExperience managing (inbound) freight clearing, forwarding and receipting as well as (outbound) dispatch and distributionImplementing and working with warehouse management systems and tools – Warehouse layout, stacking, barcoding and scanning, binning, traceabilityExtensive production planning experience within a complex environmentMust have a very good understanding of production and process flowsSound knowledge of mechanical and electrical applications (maintenance, machines, projects)Sound knowledge of the Labor Relations ActComputer literate – MS office, SYSPRO, ShopwareISO 9000, FSSC 220000Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee and manage all factory operations, teams and staffFull responsibility for inventory control and procedures (on site and off site) – Cycle counting, month end stock counts and recons, Annual auditing (external)Production planning, forecasting etc.Supplier contract negotiating (pricing, annual review, audits and evaluation)Quality system compliance (ISO 9000, FSSC 22000)Responsible for Health, Safety, Security, Fire and RiskManage all IT, Mechanical, Electrical and Operational requirementsOversee and manage on-site administration team functions (creditors, month end reporting, annual BBBEE/EE reports, annual budget, annual audit prep, BOM’s)Work closely and in tandem with the Factory Manager etc.
