Job Description - Production Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

Freehand design and design lay down application on various aircraft components as per sales requirements.
Must have been actively involved in the laying down of decals, line tape and visual accuracy in rendering designs from computer generated images and posters onto aircraft components as required.
Adhere to production schedules relating to preparation to meet internal requirements and deadlines.
Perform defect analysis.
Work closely with team members to identify and recommend methods for improving efficiency and reducing waste.
Adherence to Company policies and procedures.
Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by a member of Company management from time to time.

Essential Requirements:

Matric
Attention to detail imperative and have an eye for the quality thereof. A minimum of two years of extensive and hands on experience will secure you a career at a leading light aircraft manufacturers
Proficient in English with the ability to read, write and speak the language
Computer literate – MS office basic
Minimum of two years of hands-on experience and ability to produce a high quality of workmanship in relation to the rendering of designs, decals and line tape application process and all other supporting processes from start to finish
Experience and understanding of the various design, masking and painting methods/techniques such as the laying down of decals, line tape and visual accuracy in rendering designs from computer generated images and from posters onto aircraft components as required
Must be flexible, adaptable and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of the design, masking and paint application processes
Time management essential
Must be able to stand for long hours and lift heavy equipment from time to time
Must be able to do simple mathematical calculations mentally
