Purchasing Specialist

Our client in the automotive component manufacturing industry is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to join their team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Control raw material imports
• Control manufacturing materials
• Management of the APDP program
• Pricing
• Packaging
• Costing

Minimum Requirements

• Experience in the automotive industry
• At least 5-8 years’ experience in a senior purchasing role
• Exposure to direct and indirect buying is essential
• Relevant tertiary qualification in purchasing / supply chain
• Knowledge of imports procedures
• Knowledge of Forex
