Assistant Accountant

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To support the Group Reporting function, including Group Services monthly reporting for accurate and complete financial report compilationKEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Assist with the compilation of the monthly departmental (Group Services) financial reports and identify variances from the budget
• Reconcile BPC and SAP ECC (ERP Central Component) outputs and ensure masterdata (Chart of Accounts) maintenance
• Assist with the set up BPFs (Business Process Flows) in SAP BPC
• Compile and process journals on SAP BPC and assist with the elimination of intercompany transactions and balances
• Assist with the preparation of Caseware financial statements
• Liaise with accounting firms in respect of the International subsidiairies.REQUIRED EDUCATION
• B.Com degree (with Accounting)REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

* 3 years experience in a financial environment

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

• General SAP experienceREQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
• Computer literate: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• SAP BPC, SAP FI and CO
• Financial acumen (monthly close end processes monthly reporting)
