Desktop Publisher

Main job function Job Description: As a Desktop Publisher, you will be responsible for creating and formatting various types of documents, including brochures, Point and Sale, In-store, and Outdoor Signage. You will work closely with our marketing and design teams to ensure that all materials are visually appealing, error-free, and delivered within deadlines. The successful candidate must have a strong eye for design, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will encompass: Designing and layout of Broadsheets, Leaflets, and Point of Sale Format and layout documents according to brand guidelines. Create visually appealing graphics, images, and illustrations to enhance documents. Proofread and edit documents for grammar, spelling, and consistency. Collaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure brand consistency across all materials. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in desktop publishing. Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and adherence to corporate standards. Requirements Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in graphic design. Experience in FMCG is a must. Proven experience as a Desktop Publisher or a similar role Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) Knowledge of typography, layout, and colour theory Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills Ability to work on Mac. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with print production and prepress processes Know the difference between RGB - CMYK & Pantone Experience in Digital Printing Industry Ability to work under pressure. Attention to detail whilst working quickly. Layout experience in Adobe CC beneficial Setting up & Correcting files for print getting files Print Ready Knowledge in packaging Large format printing knowledge essential Vehicle branding knowledge beneficial.
