Job Description

An exclusive lifestyle brand is hiring a talented and experienced Graphic Designerto join their creative team. This is a full-time, permanent role, based in-office, in Paarden Eiland. You will have a diploma or degree in graphic design coupled with 3 + years of experience in design with a strong focus on packaging design as well as executing marketing projects. You will be adept with using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Responsibilities: 

• Conceptualising and designing eye-catching marketing materials (digital and print)
  
• Brand identity / visual identity across all design projects
  
• Creative collaboration with the marketing team
  
• Project management of several design projects at the same time
  
• Staying current with trends, techniques and best practices
  
• Creative ideas and producing exceptional design work
  

Requirements

• Matric/Grade 12
• Completed degree or diploma in Graphic Design
• Excellent working knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• 3 to 8 years of solid experience in design which includes packaging and marketing work
• Knowledge of design principles, typography and colour theory
• Experience from an agency
• Knowledge of interactive media
• Excellent ability to write design briefs
• Superior communication skills
