Hospitality Office Manager - Zanzibar, TanzaniaFull job descriptionHospitality and Outdoor- New Vacancy- Hospitality Office Manager5* Luxury Property- Zanzibar, TanzaniaRequirements:Relevant tertiary qualification in administration or hospitality beneficial (essential for permits)Strong experience in Front Office and Guest relations with Office administration experience being beneficial- at least 5 years in a supervisory role within the hospitalityStrong management skills, able to lead from the front line, making quick effective decisions and to motivate the team.Very organised and detail oriented with great Communication skillsStrong ‘’people’s person’’- love working with staff and guests alike, a passion for creating work place satisfactionProfessional and PresentableExcellent computer skills- Microsoft Office suite, Accounting programs, property management programs.Great at multi-tasking and troubleshooting. This job is multi-faceted and the pressure at times can be a lot, so a clear focused individual is needed to excel in this roleTanzanian/ Kenyan Nationals with relevant experience preferredDescription:Oversee day to day operations within the Town Office including (but not limited to): Finances, Guest Relations, HR, Procurement, Ground Handling.Oversee any Rate changes within the company and communicate accordingly to consultants who need to be aware.Ensure transfers/ excursions etc are all organised and the ground handling staff and equipment is all working at optimal level with excellent communication channelsDay to Day front Office Recon including petty cash, payroll, budgets, invoicing, tax etc,Daily overseeing of Ground handling & Procurement Staff- checking orders, informing relevant parties of delivery status of various suppliers. Handle logistics of the team- licensing of cars/trucks/ management of the fleet, check quantities and ensuring products are up to the required standard etc.Constantly checking suppliers for better deals and updates- try to source new /better products at best possible ratesHR duties within the team- that all team members are supported and doing the best work they can with the right support- stay up to date with HR laws in TanzaniaSales Driven- actively sourcing new excursions and experiences to elevate guest experience. Oversee the welcome desk at the airport as the first point of contact is noteworthy!
