Marketing Assistant

Job Description

A prominent SAAS (Software as a Service) firm in the transport and logistics sector is in search of a skilled and driven Marketing Assistant to join their team. 

This role, offered on a 6-month fixed-term contract basis, presents you with the opportunity to contribute to their marketing efforts and play a pivotal role in advancing their business, with a dedicated focus on a specific product line within the organisation.

This is a hybrid model, with offices located in Durbanville, Cape Town.

Responsibilities:

• Aid in crafting and executing marketing strategies to boost visibility for one of the SAAS products.
  
• Develop and oversee content across diverse marketing platforms, encompassing social media, email campaigns, and website content.
  
• Work closely with the marketing team to implement campaigns and initiatives effectively.
  
• Assist in organising marketing events, webinars, and other promotional endeavours.
  
• Track and analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns utilising analytics tools and CRM technologies.
  
• Contribute to the production of marketing collateral, including presentations, brochures, and advertisements.
  
• Offer general administrative assistance to the marketing team as required.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  
• Prior marketing experience, preferably within a SAAS or technology firm.
  
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms such as social media management, email marketing software, and CRM systems.
  
• Capability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.
  
• Strong attention to detail coupled with outstanding organisational capabilities.
  
• Familiarity with market research techniques and proficiency in data analysis.
  
• Experience with graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
